HOW IT WORKS
Mechanical processing or CNC machining
Computer controlled milling is an industrial cutting process that uses a milling cutter to remove material from the surface of a workpiece.
The most advanced CNC milling-machines (also called machining centers) are computer controlled multi-axis machines. Because of their flexibility, precision and speed, CNC milling process is very accurate and repeatable, but also is cost-effective. Fully automated machining centres can replicate complex patterns in order to create functional and durable prototypes. The range of materials can be used, most commonly aluminium and nylon.
IDEAL FOR
- Smooth and high quality parts
- Functional and durable prototypes
- Very accurate and repeatable process
A NEW WORKING PHILOSOPHY
High-speed milling is replacing the traditional one proposing a new working philosophy. High speed rotation with rapid movement of the tool is preferred instead of lower rotations and small movements. Processing speed and surface finishes are much better.
